Eligibility & Application Process
Rx One Health welcomes applications from graduate students and early career professionals from a wide variety of STEM fields including medicine, public health, veterinary medicine, basic sciences, agriculture, animal science, international development, laboratory science, environmental resources, wildlife conservation, law, engineering, social sciences, etc.
In 2025, the Rx One Health Field Institute will follow a multi-step application process. The first step will be to complete the online application form, due January 31, 2025. Following screening, selected applicants will be invited to participate in an online interview; these are generally in late February/early March. A prerequisite to receive an interview invitation will be the completion of at least one online, free One Health course available through the One Health Workforce Academies website. Each applicant must set up their own OHWA account, register, and complete at least one of the following courses:
Fundamentals of One Health Practice
Bending the Curve: Climate Education for All
*Completing more than one course is welcome, but not required. Applicants are welcome to explore the entire OHWA course and take other modules as well! Applicants are welcome to enroll and complete the online course at anytime; they need not wait for an invitation prior to an interview.
