The new Rx One Health alumni blog series will bring you first-hand student accounts sharing stories from our 2022 international cohort.

Andrea Lavarello Schettini, MPH, PhDc

Andrea is a Peruvian veterinarian currently living in France. She holds a Master of Public Health and has just started her PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Heidelberg, where she will explore the relationship between climate change and animal diseases. She also works for the World Organisation for Animal Health part-time.

The Rx One Health Field Institute is a transformative  field-based experiential learning course focused on One Health core competencies for graduate students and early career professionals from all disciplines. In 2022, we offered a 2-week version of the course in California where biodiverse and magnificent landscapes provided the backdrop for immersive One Health learning.  Check our website in late 2022 for information about a 2023 course.
